WELCOME TO ST. TIMOTHY
Worship SERVICEs at 8:30 AM and 10:45 am
Holy Week holds special worship times for us and we invite you join us on the following days:
Palm Sunday/Sunday of the Passion
On Sunday, March 25 at 8:30 am and 10:45 am worship, we will move from the joyous welcome that Jesus receives on Palm Sunday entering Jerusalem through the scriptures that show his outpouring of life. Mark's gospel will guide our hearing of the passion narrative that shows Jesus' journey to the cross.
On Thursday, March 29 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, we will remember Jesus' last supper with his disciples and the great commandment he gave ("that you love one another as I have loved you"). At 7:00 pm, we will also have youth involvement and several young people will receive their first communion.
On Friday, March 30 at 7:00 pm, we will hear about Jesus' suffering and the cross, all to prepare for the gift of new life.
On Sunday, April 1 at 8:30 am and 10:45 am, we will celebrate the gift of new life with Jesus' resurrection.
This Lent we invite you to experience midweek worship in a new way. As communities in the early church gathered around tables for a meal and worship, so will we.
On Wednesdays, between February 21–March 21, we will gather for a meal at 6:00 pm, followed by a short, 30-minute Basement Church service beginning at 6:45 pm. As the name implies, Basement Church will be our time for worship, but in the basement Social Hall at St. Timothy.
Upcoming Worship Focus
We invite you to join us for worship on Sunday mornings. All are welcome!
Our 8:30 am service is a traditional worship service with organ and choir music. The 10:45 am worship service is a contemporary service led by the Celebrate worship band.
Why Do We Do This?
Today we follow both how Jesus was welcomed with palms, and the passion of how he gave his life for us. This shares God’s heart with us.
