Capital Campaign
2025 – 2028
Our priorities haven’t changed:
1) INCREASE the flexible use of our physical space as our needs and uses change.
2) INVEST in partnership that align with our mission and values and where investment can make a significant impact.
3) RESPOND to the immediate needs of our local community struggling in these unprecedented times.
We’ve accomplished so much together:
YEAR 1
We’ve witnessed first hand the change we experience when we are open to receiving God’s love and allow our spaces to become a third space for our neighbors. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve improved the flexible use of our building by opening the Narthex (“Atrium” now) and community room spaces.
The following projects
have been completed:
– New Sanctuary Roof
– Narthex and music office renovation
– Air intake (big column in Narthex) moved outside
– Community Room renovaiton and expansion
– Education and Fireside Room roof repair
– Solar panel installation
– 50 new flexible chairs for the sanctuary
– New walkway through the garden area
– Children’s play space/nursery reimagined
– Interfaith Action received a gift of $20,000
YEAR 2
In year two, we’ll prioritize and fund the next project identified in our initial plan.
Year 2 projects include:
– Front walkway railing and garden renewal with curb for accessibility
– Kitchenette expansion and renewal
– Add new visual elements (wall hangings, artwork and furniture) throughout Atrium areas
– Furnaces/heat pumps for Atruim and office areas
– New signage
– Social Hall renewal planning
– Women’s restroom refresh planning
YEAR 3
In year three, we’ll continue
with the projects that are
ready to be completed.
While we can’t predict trhe future, we can see what a renewed capacity for hospitality makes possible for our faith community and our neighbors. As we continue to create a space where all people are welcome to gather, build relationships and create shared meaning it’s important to celebrate each other and all the wonderful changes we can see with our own eyes and feel in our bodies. Our work here is not done, we will keep listeinng.
