Journey with us through Holy Week

In all four Gospels, Easter comes not with trumpet sound or fireworks, not with feast or fabulous colors, but it comes. So we listen for the good news of Easter in whispers and music that keep us going and watch for the signs of new life in green shoots and warm greetings that bring us smiles, and we strive to share in our bodies and lives the news that Christ is risen.

Palm Sunday

Sunday, March 24

9:30 am

Today we move through welcome, joy, promise, and sorrow with Palm Sunday and the Sunday of the Passion as we enter Holy Week.

Following worship, join us in the Social Hall for a delicious Palm Sunday Breakfast. Come and enjoy pancakes, eggs, pastries, juice, and community with one another.

Free-will donations for the Palm Sunday Breakfast will support our Youth and Family Ministry, which in particular goes to subsidized pricing and scholarships for our Family Camp weekend in July!

Maundy Thursday

Thursday, March 28

2:00 pm and 7:00 pm

We will hold in-person worship at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm with communion. We’ll have the stripping of the altar at 7:00 pm to prepare for the news of Good Friday.

Good Friday

Friday, March  29

7:00 pm

We’ll have a Good Friday service at 7:00 pm where we will tend to grief, betrayal, and denial — along with the promise of our God meeting us in this space.

We will hear about Jesus’ suffering on the cross to prepare for the gift of new life on Sunday morning.

Easter Sunday

Sunday, March 31

9:00 am and 10:30 am

Easter brings the good news of Jesus’ resurrection and the promise of ours. What would resurrection life look like?

We will have two services to celebrate Easter Sunday at 9:00 am (traditional, led by organ and choir) and 10:30 am (contemporary-style with the Celebrate Band).
